Established in 1985 by Grand Master Ed O’Brien, Kung-Fu Canada is dedicated to helping students achieve their personal best through the practice of Kung-Fu.

At Kung-Fu Canada we understand that everyone has their own unique goals and abilities. Our classes are designed to help you achieve your personal best and grow as an individual. We believe that virtually everyone, regardless of size, age, weight, or gender, can benefit from Kung-Fu. We provide instruction geared to your individual needs and abilities. Master Joe Sblano
Head Instructor
A 5th degree black-belt in Kung-Fu with over 45 years of experience in the Martial Arts, Master Joe Sblano has been chief instructor of Kung-Fu Canada for almost 35 years.
George Petrakis
Assistant Instructor
A black belt in Kung-Fu, George Petrakis began his training in the Sil Lum Hung Gar style in the late 1990’s. He has been a student at Kung-Fu Canada since 2005.
Our System
Kung-Fu Canada follows the Shaolin Chuan Fa tradition, which focuses on preventing violence and promoting compassion and peace.
We also embrace the eclectic nature of the Kenpo movement developing and adapting traditional techniques for the practical purposes of self-defense.
